Intex Aqua i6 with 5-inch Display, Quad Core Processor launched at Rs 8,990

Intex Aqua i6 is the latest smartphone from Intex technologies. It is released to the Indian market today and is priced at Rs. 8,990. Intex has found success with the Aqua brand of smartphones, and this is the latest in that series. Aqua i6 features a 5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels (FWVGA) resolution.

Aqua i6 is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek Quad Core processor MT6582 coupled with Mali 400MP2 GPU. MediaTek recently announced this processor, according to MediaTek this phone is the South Asia’s first handset with this chipset if that sounds good for you. It packs a 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage along with a micro SD card slot for expanding memory upto 32GB.

Other specifications include 8-megapixel rear camera, 2MP front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS.

It runs on Android 42.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It packs a 1900mAh battery under the hood for providing juice. It is a dual-SIM phone with GSM+GSM support. The Intex Aqua i6 comes with apps like Matrabasha, Bigflix, Intex cloud app which gives 5GB of free storage to Intex mobile users.
