LG Announces Optimus 4X HD, Tegra 3, Android 4.0

LG is announcing series of phones ahead of the Mobile World Congress. The latest announcement from LG is about the unveiling of LG Optimus 4X HD  which will be showcased at MWC 2012.

This is the first phone from with Quad-Core processor powered by NVIDIAs Tegra 3 processor (1.5 GHz). Optimus 4X HD comes with Ice Cream Sandwich according to the press release, if it is does so then this is the first LG smartphone to come with Ice Cream Sandwich version of the Android.

It features 4.7 inch 720p True HD IPS display and 8.9mm thick, 8 mega pixel camera at the rear, 1.3 mega pixel camera at the front, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Other specs include 2150 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFI 802.11b/g/n, MHL, DLNA technology and SHSPA+ 21 MBPS support.

Full spec details may be announced at the MWC 2012.
