LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition available from $349

Sony Xperia Z Ultra is not the only Google Play Edition we have seen today LG G Pad 8.3 is also available as a Google Play Edition device starting with a price of $349. It is currently listed in US Google Play Store and is available for buying, according to the listing it should ship in 1-2 days.

As you have guessed the Google Play Edition means the hardware is same but only the software is different in the sense these devices will get stock Android with out the OEM’s customized versions. Most of the times the stock Android is good with out too much bloat.

LG launched the G Pad 8.3 this September, it comes with a 8.3 WXGA display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It is not clear whether the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition will launch in any other markets. But the LG G Pad 8.3 regular model should launch in other regions as per LG’s original plan.
