Micromax launches two Windows Phone devices, Canvas W121 and Canvas W092

Micromax has introduced two Windows phone devices in India, called Canvas W121 and Canvas 092. These are the first Windows Phones from Micromax and we are expecting more in this line. Micromax has announced earlier that they are launching Windows Phone devices in the Indian market, till now Micromax is only concentrating on Android and that is changing today with the introduction of these phones.

The Canvas W092 becomes the cheapest Windows phone launched in India. Both these phones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and comes with 1GB of RAM. Both these devices run on the Windows Phone 8.1 platform.

The Canvas W121 comes with a 5-inch HD display with IPS panel. It is powered by a Qualcomm quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded with a micro SD card upto 32GB. It comes with an 8-*megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. It is a dual-SIM smartphone as you would expect from Micromax. It comes with a leather finish back panel.

The Canvas W092 is a 4-inch device and comes with a IPS WVGA display, it is also powered by the same Qualcomm 200 quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, along with a micro SD slot for memory expansion upto 32GB. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing camera. This is also a dual-SIM Windows Phone.

Canvas W121 and Canvas W092 will be available in India starting from next month that is July 2014 onwards, they are priced at Rs 9500, and Rs 6500 respectively.
