Nokia has announced Lumia 925 today at an event in London. Along with the device Nokia also announced a Smart Camera App with several new features, this camera app is not specific to the 925 but it will be available to all Lumias running Windows Phone 8. Lumia 925 has the same camera that is there in both Lumia 920 and Lumia 928 but with some improvements like low light performance, noise reduction etc.
Nokia Smart Camera app brings the functionality from the existing Smart Shoot lens with new features Best Shot, Action Shot and Motion Focus options. Best Shot allows you to take 10 shots in a short burst at 5 megapixel resolution and then it selects the best picture from the pool, you can also select your favorite from the shots. You can also edit finer details in a powerful editor, like changing faces etc. There is also an option to remove objects from the photos if accidentally something unwanted comes in the photo.
Action shot makes it possible to shoot an action and then bring all the actions in one shot giving it an unique effect. See the video below to see this in action.
The Motion Focus feature allows you to blur the background giving it a motion blur effect.

Nokia Smart Camera app can be set as your default camera interface if you want to open the camera in Smart Camera app mode. Nokia recommends regular camera mode for low light performance and while capturing stills.
The Nokia Smart Camera app will be available to all Windows Phone 8 running Lumias as pre-loaded and as over-the-air update for devices already in use.
