Nokia is sending invites for an event on December 16th in India according to reports. The invites say Monday, Dec 16th, a “Big day” for Nokia, speculation is that Nokia might launch its bigger devices Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 in India. Both these phablets were announced at Nokia World in October.
Nokia Lumia 1520 is a high end phablet with 6-inch ClearBlack IPS LCD screen with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm 2.2GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also boasts a micro SD card slot for memory expansion upto 64GB. On the software front it comes with Windows Phone 8 with GDR3 update.
It cones with a 20MP PureView camera at the rear along with a two-stage capture key, dual LED flash, and a 1.2MP wide angle camera is at the front of the device for video calls and selfies. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, micro USB, GPS, 4G LTE. It packs a 3400 mAh battery under the hood to provide juice to the Lumia 1520.
Nokia Lumia 1320 is a mid-range device compared to Lumia 1520, it features a 6-inch ClearBlack IPS LCD screen with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). It is powered by a 1.7GHz Dual Core Qualcomm SNapdragon S4 Processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also has a micro SD card slot for memory expansion upto 64GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, GPS, 4G LTE.
On the imaging front it comes with a 5MP rear camera with autofocus, LED Flash and a VGA front camera. It packs a 3400 mAh battery under the hood for providing juice. It comes with Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update.
The Lumia 1520 launch looks imminent as it was listed on Nokia official site with coming soon status, and we are expecting Nokia will also launch the Lumia 1320 along with its high-end cousin.
