Nokia offers buyback scheme, get Lumia 520 or 620 in exchange for your old phone

Nokia has introduced a buyback scheme on its Lumia 520 and Lumia 620 models in India. Under the scheme you can exchange your old phone for a brand new Lumia 520 or Lumia 620 and get Rs. 4000 or Rs. 6000 as cachback. Quite recently Apple, Samsung and BlackBerry offered similar buyback schemes to push sales of their smartphones, with the success of these schemes Nokia is following them to offer similar schemes with its mobiles. It is important to note that these two mobiles are most successful in India and elsewhere in terms of numbers.

According to Nokia the discount amount Rs.4000 and Rs. 6000 is minimum discount and may vary with the dealer. You can take your mobile to a participating dealer and exchange your old phone to avail the offer. The list of retailer offering this scheme is not yet clear but we are guessing it might be available with many offline retail chains like Reliance Digital etc.

The list of devices that can be exchanged for a Lumia 520 or Lumia 620 include:

Nokia: Asha 305, 306, 308, 309, 311, Lumia 510, Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800, E63, C5-05, X3-02.5, E5, Nokia 603, E71, E72, N8, E51, E52
Samsung: Samsung Neo, Champ Delux Duos, Galaxy Y, Galaxy Pocket DUOS, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Y Duos, Galaxy Music Duos, Galaxy Ace, Samsung Rex 70, Rex 80, Rex 90, Rex Duos, Star 3 Duos, Galaxy Young.
Sony: Tipo SS, Tipo DS, E-Single, E-Dual, Xperia Mini, Xperia-Neo.
Karbonn: A15, A7+, A9, A11, A9+, A21.
HTC: Desire C, Desire V, Explorer
Micromax: A87, A110 Canvas 2, A116 Canvas HD

    • The discounts offered on models is at the discretion of participating retailers. So better go to a Nokia store and find out the same

    • It depends on the condition of the phone, go to any BigC or UniverCell Mobile outlet, they will tell u how much you can get it for your 510.
