Apple Lists Great Apps for New iPad

The new iPad landed with a high a resolution screen, and now developers are updating their apps to take advantage of the retina enabled screen. The retina enabled screen has a display of 2048 x 1536.

Apple has included a new section on iTunes highlighting as which are ready for the new iPad, the section named “Great Apps for the New iPad” lists many new retina enabled apps. There are currently 36 featured apps for the new iPad and you can see more apps added to this section as developers release updated as for the retina display.

Notable as from the list include,

Twitter: Twitter app updated to version 4.1.2 and the only change in this app is it supports high resolution graphics for the Retina display on the new iPad.

NYTimes: NYTimes app for iPad is updated for retina display on the new iPad and also includes syncing saved articles across iPad devices and iPhone 3.3 and above via NYTimes account.

Evernote: The popular productivity application Evernote now supports retina display on the iPad along with checkbox improvements for iPad.
