Rumor: Micromax Splash is a water and dust resistant phone

Micromax is rumored to be working on a dust and water resistant phone according to the rumor mill. Microma Splash is rumored to be a water and dust resistant phone with IP67 certification. Micromax leaker @mmxnewscaster posted on Twitter about the Micromax Spalsh, the tweet mentions the Splash moniker is not yet confirmed.

There are no other details about the Splash, specs is still a mystery for now. The back of the phone shows a 5MP rear camera along with Flash on the leaked picture of Micromax Splash. If it is true then this is the first time Micromax is launching a waterproof and dustproof smartphone in the country.

The IP67 certification means users can use the phone under one meter water for 30 minutes. Usually it is rare to see phones with waterproof and dustproof feature in the low and mid range smartphones. Sony usually produces high-end phones with waterproof and dustproof.
