Samsung is rolling out a firmware update for Galaxy S4 (GT-19500) owners in India, users are reporting it on Xda forums. Samsung earlier this month started rolling out a firmware update in Germany for GT-19505 S4 devices, looks like the same update is rolling out here also.
The update is massive with 343MB in size according to user reports, it is not clear what new features this update will bring. But if it is the same update Samsung rolled out a few days back in Germany then it will bring the ability to move apps from phone to SD card. Other improvements or features include New Camera firmware, Smart Pause toggle, HDR Video, Semi-transparent status bar and new icons in settings.
The update is available both as a over-the-air (OTA) and through Samsung Kies application. To manually check for the update go to Settings –> About –> Software Update.
