Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Tab 2 310 in India today. This tab was originally announced at Mobile World congress this year. Galaxy Tab 2 is the first tablet that comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre loaded from Samsung. This tablet is priced attractively at Rs 23250.
Galaxy Tab 2 310 is a 7 inch tablet with WSVGA PLS TFT screen and offers 600 x 1024 display resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and comes with a 3 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera. On the connectivity front it will support 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. The tablet is available with an internal memory of 8/16/32GB and a microSD card support for expanding the memory upto 32GB.
Samsung has partnered with Tata Docomo for the data connection, every Tablet will get 3GB of data download for over a period of 3 months from Tata Docomo.
Galaxy Tab 2 310 also includes some other Samsung goodies like Readers Hub, which gives users access to e-books, magazines, and newspapers in several languages. Game Hub and My Movies will connect users to list of game titles and several Movies.
Galaxy tab 2 310 is available for a price of Rs 23250, but can be ordered online for less than that, Buytheprice.com is offering it at Rs 19,900.
