WhatsApp on Windows Phone is finally updated with new features and more importantly fixes for the bugs. The app on Windows Phone was never upto the mark compared to Android and iOS versions, users complained a lot about the same. It is buggy with lot of issues and never really provided good user experience. The latest update seems to fix lot of issues users had previously.
With the new update users can finally make calls inside the app and it now allows you to play music in the background, now takes advantage of the Windows Phone background agent. The update also brings proper Emoji. The notification issues have been fixes. The images appear larger now. Fast resume feature allows to go to message when app is open and when you click on a notification.
