Zoho Writer gets new features, DocX support, Thesaurus..

zoho writerZoho writer, the web based word processor has added a bunch of useful new features.

The new features include

DocX support: Zoho writer now supports exporting to Docx (Office 2007) format.

Thesaurus: Now Zoho writer has a thesaurus in 10 languages. To use it right-click on a word choose the ‘Thesaurus’ option to view synonyms and related words. Languages supported in Thesaurus: English, Czech, German, Greek, French, Irish, Italian, Polish, Russian & Slovak.

Sharing with Groups: Instead of entering multiple addresses to share with a group of people, now you can select share with groups option. Create groups from your My Account section.

Endnotes/Footnotes: Enhanced functionality to retain endnotes/footnotes correctly when exporting to other formats.

Headers/Footers: Headers/Footers support is enhanced to retain headers/footers when exporting the documents.

Zoho is one of the best Online Office suites available, if you haven’t tried it you should try it now.
