1001 brings Flickr to your Mac desktop

Mac Only: 1001 is a free desktop app that allows to bring Flickr out of browser. This app uploads your photos to Flickr, notifies you about updates from your contacts, everyone, or from the tags you are following.

1001 has a nice UI and a fun way to use Flickr in a desktop app. It also comes with a Flickr Screensaver that will display latest images from Flickr.

Features:

  • Recent Streams: The main window lists the most recent images for the current stream or all streams. You can also switch between the streams and use the search box to filter out images with tags, title etc.
  • You can set any number of streams to follow your favorite tags, contacts.
  • Using uploader you can upload single or batch uploads. Tags, title, description, sets, privacy settings can be added to each photo.
  • Your own photos are showed in a separate window, you can use these to select your photos and blogging about it using “Blog This” button.

    Hello,

    Is there any programs out there that will let you batch download images from Flickr to your Mac?

    I know about Flump & Downloadr for PC’s, but what about for Mac’s?!
