Dropbox Simplified File Storage

Published on April 10, 2008   Filed Under Technology, Tools, Web 2.0

Dropbox is a file sharing service launched in private beta a few weeks back. I got an invite just a few days and i am playing with it. It is the easiest file sharing service i ever used.

Dropbox is simple to use with drag and drop functionality. You need to download and install desktop application to sync web account with your computer. After installing your local Dropbox folder will open. To share files just put in these folders and they will be synced to your web account. The syncing is real time and its amazingly fast.

To share files with your friends create shared folders and invite them. Do check out if you need to share files, it is one best ways to share files on the web.

  11. I’ve been experimenting with various collaboration & document sharing tools and have discovered an excellent site. It is a very user friendly, web-based application that is well worth taking the time to explore. Take a few minutes and look at Projjex.com. The tutorials are excellent & you don’t need to be a Rocket Scientist to figure out how to use it. It even offers a free version so you can try it on for size.

  12. i would love a dropbox invite if you have one to spare. would be incredibly grateful :)

  13. Looking for an invite and Thanks in Advance :)
