Microsoft Live Search has improved its Live Search News. I do see the new page morning, but now it is not showing. The UI looks like something similar to techmeme.
The prominent improvements include an orange bar on top which displays breaking news when its happening. But at the moment it only displays breaking news from MNSBC. The right sidebar shows Local news depending on your location.
One feature that is different from Google News, its main competitor is “Top News Videos” section which delivers relevant videos according to cNet.
