ScreeanToaster is an application to create screencasts. You don’t need to download any application to record your desktop screen, the service runs via Java web applet that makes it a platform independent service so you can use it on Windows, Mac or Linux.

ScreenToaster

Screen Toaster can be controlled by using combination of keyboard shortcuts to record the screencasts, ALT+S can be used to start/stop the recording. If you prefer to select an area only to be recorded on your screen you can hit ALT+SHIFT+S to select the area. The created screen recordings can be embedded on blogs/social profiles or can be shared via email.

Screentoaster is currently in beta, you can request an invite here. This looks like a useful service and one of the best easy to use solutions to create screencasts vdieo demos and tutorials for the web.

  1. I like the online aspect. I just wrote about one of their competitors and got a glimpse of how awesome an online app like this is.
