Amazon has quietly launched an online Indian marketplace at The site currently sells only books, movies and TV shows but more product categories including mobile phones, camera are expected soon. offers a marketplace where third-party sells can sell their stuff directly to consumers. Amazon India can’t sell their own products directly to consumers due to the the FDI regulations in India for multi-brand retailers.
