Microsoft released a new theme for Windows 7, the new theme Rainbows is available for download from Windows downloads. The Rainbow theme brings high resolution imagery of Rainbows of landscapes with stunning color contrasts.

The rainbows theme will work on computers running Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate Editions. But if you are curious to see if it works with Windows 8, go and install it, it works with out any hiccups.
We might see some more themes for Windows 7 before we get the stable version of Windows 8.
