Micromax to launch A89 Ninja with Android 4.0, Dual-Core Processor

Micromax has released yet another smartphone in it’s Ninja series of Android smartphones. Recently Micromax has released several low cost Android smartphone for the budget conscious customers and it is continuing the release spree with new handsets every now and then. The latest from Micro,max is A89 Ninja, it appeared on the Micromax website but pricing is not yet known for this device.

Micromax A 89 is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core MediaTek MT6577 Processor. It comes preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Other specifications include 4-inch WVGA display with TFT screen and 480×800 pixel resolution. It has a 512 MB RAM and 4GB of ROM, and a microSD slot for expanding memory upto 32GB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 3G, USB, GPS, Wi-Fi. It has a 3MP camera at the rear for taking pictures but there is no front camera although 3G is supported on this device.

It comes with a 1450mAh battery and according to Micromax it would give a talk time of 4 hours and standby time of 170 hours. It also has all the usual Micromax apps such as Hook up,M! live,M! store,M! Zone+,Fruit devil,Darkman. The pricing of this is not yet known, expected to be in Rs. 7000 category.
