PuTTY is a popular SSH client for windows which everyone uses. While PuTTY is a great free app it is just basic, if you want to open multiple SSH connections in a tabbed interface then look at Putty Connection manager.

HotkeyZ is a freeware application for setting keyboard shortcuts for any tasks in windows. Using HotkeyZ you can create, manage hot keys to launch programs, control applications, shutdown your system etc.
HotkeyZ comes with preset categories including Control Panel, Desktop Window, HotKeyZ commands, Internet, Shutdown options, Sound and System. You can control files, folders or run commands using this handy utility, iit also allows you to launch applications in Normal, Minimized or Maximized states. It supports parameters, while opening a browser you can set the parameter to open Google.com. You can also disable some of the hotkeys with out deleting it.

According to Net Applications recent stats show Firefox market share at 20% for two weeks in October, for full month it is hovering at 19.97%. This is the first time Firefox hit 20% market share.
IE still carries the largest market share at 71.27%, Safari is at 6.57%, Opera is at 0.75% and Chrome is just at 0.74% for the month of October.

Gmail Backup is a freeware that allows you to backup and restore your Gmail email account. It backups all the emails in your account along with the attachments and also preserves the labels.
Download the application and install it, you just need to enter your gmail username and password for it to recover all the emails. You need to enable IMAP access in your gmail account to backup emails using Gmail Backup. To do so, go to settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP and enable IMAP access. After entering the username and password specify the directory to store the backed up emails. Then click backup.

VoxOx is trying to be an all in one messaging communications client. Today it launched a public beta of the service. Currently it is available for Windows and Intel based Macs, support for Power PC Macs, Linux and Mobile is coming soon according to the site.

There are a plenty of online image editors out there, and today i got tip about yet another online photo editor Sumopaint. This web app looks like a online photoshop clone, if you are familiar with photoshop using it a snap, but it won’t provide all the functionality you have in Photoshop.
Sumopaint is a webapp written in Flash with all the basic image editing tools and some advanced tools to make image manipulation in browser. It allows you to import images from your computer, sumopaint account, open images from URLs. You can save the finished images to your computer or sumopaint account.
