Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the sibling of the Galaxy S4 is now available on pre-order from Samsung eStore as well as from Flipkart.com. Samsung has launched this phone officially in India few days back, currently it is priced at Rs. 27,990. It has similar design like the S4 but with downgraded specifications, it occupies mid range in the Samsung Galaxy line up.
Samsung Galaxy S4 mini features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with pixel density of 256ppi, it has qHD resolution, at least HD resolution would have been better for the price it commands though. It runs on a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. On the imaging front it has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9MP front HD camera. Other specifications include 1.5GB RAM, 8GB ROM, out of which 5GB is user accessible. It also features a micro SD card slot for memory expansion upto 64GB. It packs a 1900mAh battery under the hood to power up the device.
Given the price we would not recommend this phone as there are better options at this price. The expected availability of the device according to the listing is July 18th, on that day your pre-orders phones will ship.
