Sense 4.5 Plus Camera port for HTC One X (Fully Working)

HTC phones have been quite popular in the Android smartphone market and the camera in most HTC phones has been one of the company’s strongest points. The HTC One X is an incredible phone and has several incredible features including the camera app. The results are usually fantastic and the camera can get a lot of detail, even in low light conditions. However, One X users have limited settings options in the camera app and because of this, a modded camera app has been released specially for the HTC One X.

The new modded camera app is basically based on the upcoming HTC Sense 4.5 UI. Sense 4.5 is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and brings several new features within the camera app.The HTC  Camera 4.5 Plus not only changes the entire UI and the feeling of the default camera app on the HTC One X, but it also gives several additional features which rooted One X devices can enjoy.

The new camera features a full settings panel and you can easily set the encoding quality or the compression level of the pictures. Another fantastic feature of the new camera app is that you can change audio and video bit rates. This is a totally new feature and you can force  set the bit rate of audio and video in order to get your desired result in the final video.

The 4.5 Plus camera also features different scenes for the front/secondary camera. HTC scenes are available for the primary camera only but the 4.5 camera lets you choose different scenes for the secondary 1.3 MP camera. Apart from this, the camera also offers features for enhancing image adjustments and auto enhancing options.

Possibly, the biggest advantage of installing this modded camera is that you can finally use a physical button to take pictures. A lot of people like dedicated camera buttons but the HTC One X does not come with a dedicated camera button. With the 4.5 Plus camera, you can short-press the volume up/down button in order to take either a picture or to start recording a video. Long pressing the volume keys will still give you zoom in and zoom out.

You can download the app here. You can, then, install the modded camera zip through CWM Recovery. Make sure to create a Nandroid Backup First!
