The next version of Android KitKat version number of Android 4.4 and not version 5. That means it will be an incremental upgrade to the Jelly Bean and not a major upgrade.

Google called this release Key Lime Pie until recently but last November they decided to opt for KitKat as they realised that very few people actually know the taste of KLP. Internally it was known as KLP only, according to a BBC story. KitKat is apparently a favorite snack of the Android coders. According to the BBC story Nestle will produce  50 million Kitkat bar featuring Android mascot.
