Samsung Galaxy Note 2 released in Korea

Samsung Galaxy Note II is released in Korea today, first announced at IFA Berlin last month is an upgraded version of the popular phablet Galaxy Note. Galaxy Note 2 is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean out of the box.

Galaxy Note II sports a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display at 720 x1280 pixel resolution, it has 2GB of RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB internal memory with expandable memory upto 64GB with a microSD card. Other specifications include 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.9 megapixel front camera for video calling, 3100mAh battery. The connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE in select markets, Bluetooth 4, WiFi, NFC, and aGPS. It also comes with improved S Pen and other new features.

Samsung first released this phone in Korea today and eventually will be released in 128 countries in the next few days. In India it is expected to release tomorrow, Samsung fans who are waiting for the Galaxy Note II launch in India can pre-book the phone from Samsung India eStore by paying Rs. 5000 in advance.
