Send Files up to 2GB for free

Streamfile is a free service that allows you to send files of up to 2GB to your recipients. One good thing is there is nothing to install, just use your browser to send the files.

There are many sites that offer free file transfer services but there are a few who offer large file sharing via browser and Streamlife is one of them. Enter your email address and pick the file you want to send, it will give two URLS one is generic and other encrypted URL. You can send the link URL to your recipient they can start downloading the file while you are uploading. The file will be stored in a temporary location on their servers and it will be deleted after 24hrs.

While this is a super easy way to send large files, one down side is that it can be abused by sending malicious files as Webware points out.
