Yahoo launched Axis browser for iPhone, iPad and an add-on for desktop

We have enough browsers out there competing fiercely with one another for user attention. Google Chrome recently crossed IE to become the most user browser and then there is Firefox which is also quite popular. Now Yahoo came into the browser market with a new browser for both desktop and iOS devices.

The new browser launched by Yahoo is called “Axis”, for desktop it is a mere extension for Chrome and Firefox, kind of search-oriented extension. But on iOS it is actually a browser and seemed to work great on iPad and not so on desktop.

I am trying to download but it is only available to US users via iTunes and direct SMS way through Yahoo is not working either. What the hell Yahoo you want only US users to access your browser, good for you.

Download Yahoo Axis for iPhone and iPad
Download Yahoo Axis plugin for desktop browsers

While we wait for the download here are the videos demonstrating the Axis browser.
