Microsoft adds Streaming to Silverlight

Microsoft announced streaming support for Silverlight at Mix07 conference, the service allows web develeopers to host and stream up to 4Gb of videos for free. The videos can be streamed at 700kbps. Yahoo to acquire Right Media

Yahoo announced today that it agreed to acquire Right Media Inc., which runs an advertising marketplace. Yahoo invested 20% in Right Media in 2006 and now Yahoo will acquire the remaining stake for $680 billions.
Right Media runs an advertising market place where advertisers and publishers buy and sell ads through auctions in real time.

Nofollow is a link attrubute adopted by search engines like Google and Yahoo to fight comment and link spam. This nofollow link attribute is automatically added when you post a comment in any wordpress or blogger.com blogs. Recently wikipedia also introduced this nofollow link attribute to fight link spam.

Mozilla Firefox 3 Alpha

Mozilla foundation has released Firefox 3 Alpha with code name Gran Paradiso Alpha 4. This release version is for testing purposes and is built on the next generation of Mozilla’s layout engine, Gecko 1.9. According to Mozilla Developer site there are no significant unser interface changes, however there are many core layout and rendering improvements.

MySpace entered to China market, a beta verion of myspace china is released. Unlike other international myspace sites myspce china is managed with local partners. Texyt reported that discussion forums on sensitive topics like Politics and Religion are nowhere in chinese myspace.
