Online Photo Printing Service space in India is heating up with lots of websites offering the service. All of them claim to provide quality prints with low prices lets see who wins the customer base in the long run. Some of these sites also offer sharing with friends and family but i believe their primary business model is based on printing. I will try to review some of the websites i came across offering the digital photo printing service for Indians.
The main drawback i suppose is the size of the image allowed to upload, they say that maximum size of the image should be less than 4MB, but if you want good quality images for large prints you need more size, i take normally photos of 5MB (not 6MB) size with my digital camera. They increased the limit to 7MB.
All these sites offer almost the same price around Rs4.5/- per 4×6 print, so price is not going to be the competition between them. What matters in deciding the best service in customers point of vies is the credibility, customer support, site design, uploading tools, storage space and extras like free web page, ability to personalize with gifts.
After seeing all these sites i feel itasveer ranks top among these sites after that SnapGalaxy and Picsquare, MeraSnap also has the potential to compete with others.
Did i miss out something, post in the comments

@ M Arora
thanx for the comments
Any of you guys has tried out the printing? if so how was the clarity?
Benedict I didnt try any of this yet.
If someone had experienced please let us know.. I’m gonna print some photos in near future using anyone of this service…
Hi
Thanks for the nice review Ram :). Incidentally, we increased our upload limit last week only, we’ve introduced poster sized prints at itasveer, and it warranted an increase. So the new upload limit is 7MB per photo. We usually go by the print size for upload limits. For eg. a 6MB photo wouldn’t have any extra detail than a 1MB or even less sized photo for a regular 4×6 print. Are we confusing MB (Megabytes) with MP (megapixels) here?? Because very few camera in my opinion make jpg’s as big as 6 MB. An 8 megapixel image from my camera is usually 3.5 MB or so.
@Animesh Thanks for the comments,
I clearly mentioned in the post that size is for large prints.
i mean MB not mega pixels, photos taken with my new camera are around 5MB (not 6MB i corrected this) at 3648×2736 resolution.
Hey guys, I tried the service at http://www.printcamp.com and had a great experience. I ordered a photo calendar and a photo coffee mug as a gift. I have ordered a second time after that and again had a similar experience. Not only did the products arrive on time, but they were of excellent quality. As such, I am surprised by the experience and can only attribute it to the fact “things” will happen at times and yours was an anomaly.
I found the site easy to understand and navigate. I am glad that I ordered and really found the experience delightful and loved the convenience. However, I wish that they were offering more products as I am specifically looking for printed photo albums and large poster size prints. Anyway, I am think that this is a good service, definitely convenient, worth using and glad to be a happy user.
So you may try these service also.

HP has recently launched a website for uploading photo (unlimited space), sharing & printing in India. the website is http://www.snapfish.co.in
I have tried http://www.zoomin.com and its really good. The pages are simple and clean and the prints were really good. I mean no compromizes in the quality at all. But yes they are a little more expensive at 4 bucks for 4×6 prints & 25 bucks shipping. But that said … no hidden costs.
Also No fake offers… I’ve seen some of these sites where you upload all your pics to their site and then they will charge you higher prices later.
I tried Zoomin which was really good.
Also, now Snapfish is in India, however, I found the interface very unfriendly.
i have already tried zoom.in and snapfish. both are exellent and satisfactory.

Was recommended by a friend. Dont like the payment gateway. Have tried to make a payment via debit card on 5 different days, but does not go through whilst the same time I have made some other online payments successfully- so not a problem with my card-Quite frustrating!
I had tried many sites. Among them zoomin.com & PrintBucket.com are fantastic. PrintBucket gives excellent service,
& their packing is wonderful, same is the case with zoomin. All the best to all of them.
i first tumbled upon picsquare, then came to know about zoomin. When zoomin started to offer 25 free prints on sign up, I made the most of it by creating multiple IDs and got my pictures delivered several times free of cost. The print quality is awesome and the add ons like sample metalic 5X7 snap, free album and just 25 rupees flat courier charges are big pluses.
Seeing the competition heat up, even picsquare started to offer 10 FREE prints of 6X8 size, and I snapped it up at once. The print quality was good enough. Then I stumbled upon snapfish.in which offers 30 FREE 4X6 snaps, but then the courier charges are quite high here (comes to Rs. 50 almost including service tax).
Going by the number of photo printing sites and competition hotting up, you can fill in a cupboard full of photo prints for FREE. Hurry Up ! Make the most of Now!! 🙂
zoomin.com gives better way to organise and print.
