Google Opinion Rewards is a new app for Google Consumer Surveys, it allows users to answer questions posed by others and in return users will get Play Store credits, the credit can be used to purchase apps, music, video or books. Users who have downloaded the app will get notifications about new surveys once in a week. According to Google the surveys are both short and relevant to the user. The range of questions include “Which logo is best?” and “Which promotion is most compelling?” to “When do you plan on traveling next?”.
The service is free for users but for researchers it is priced, and the new solution is coming in the next few weeks according to Google, using that researchers will get results of surveys in days and in easily readable aggregate format.
