Samsung Galaxy Note III will have Metallic Body and New Design

When Samsung unveiled Galaxy S4 everyone complained about the plastic around the device and the unchanged design compared to the previous gen device Galaxy SIII. Samsung fans would like to see premium design with aluminum or some other metal instead of the cheap or not so premium plastic Samsung is using. Samsung obviously knows this according to a report and will use metal components in the upcoming device line up starting with Note III.

Many reviewers praised HTC One for its design and the aluminum shell apart from other features of the phone like Camera. This has made Samsung worried about its design and build quality according to SamMobile, who got insider information and Samsung is planning to switch build quality for the next flagship device. Galaxy S4 should have come with a metallic shell, but Samsung is not able to mass-produce metallic shells for the phone, that is the reason it came with plastic body. Although Samsung is worried about design it is not worried about it’s software because they think that their software is better than what HTC devices have currently.

Samsung will use some kind of metal in the design of Galaxy Note III, but the choice is not known and Samsung is expecting to sell many Note III devices. According to the report Note III will also come with a new design that is not like Galaxy S4. That is a welcome change if the report is true, but it is too early to predict something like this, as last minute changes are always possible like in the case of Galaxy S4.

Galaxy Note III is rumored to have 6-inch display with Full HD AMOLED screen and Exynos 5 Octa Processor, LTE and 13 megapixel camera and should run on latest Android, might be Android 5.0.
