Make Comic Strips with Flickr Photos

Published at January 8, 2008   Filed Under Web 2.0

I wrote about how to make comic strips a while back, but what you can make some nice comic strips using Flickr Photos. Bubblr does exactly the same, you can add bubbles to any Flickr photos in few secs using Bubblr and publish them.

You can grab the Flickr photos using either tags or flickr username, once you enter the tag or username it will grab the photos from and present you in a strip on top. Now you can select which ones you want to include in your comic strip by drag and drop.

Once you have the photos on dashboard, add bubbles to each photo with relevant text. Once you are done with your bubbling of photos click publish to get the comic strip. This comic bubbles are stored at Bubblr site but you can embed them as strips in your web pages or social networks. See at the end of this post for bubblr strip.

Bubblr is designed in Flash, user interface is simple and elegant. You can create your first bubblr in few secs, ofcourse if you include large umber of photos it may take time.
