Keep Track of Beijing Olympics with Google Summer Games Site

Google launched a summer games site to help users stay updated with the Olympics. The site features medals, events and stadiums with a Google map mashup.

You can also add the iGoogle gadget to your iGoogle home page to keep track of the Olympics. The gadget shows events list, medals tally by countries and news from Google news.

You could also schedules and results on Google Search Results. Example Search for Olympic tennis.

Google Maps mashup overlays medals, events and stadiums, videos from youtube quiet nicely. You could also checkout awesome 3D models of the stadiums created with Google Sketch up tool.
