Giving out your email address in sites or public forums is the best way to attract spam in your email. Tinymail.me is a free service, you just enter your email address in the text box, it will generate a tinyurl like link to your email. It will also generate code for you to put in web pages or forums or just to pass the link. For linking in web pages it gives HTML link and for forums it gives BBcode link, you can just put the code. When some one wants to see the real email address they have to click through the link, it will display a re-captcha to verify they are humans, once they enter correct captcha code the real email address is revealed.
