iterasi: Bookmark Dynamic Web Pages

iterasi is a social bookmarking tool for saving web pages. It is different from other social bookmarking sites like del.icio.us which save links to the web pages, iterasi saves web pages in whole keeping all the links and images intact.

When you bookmark a page it saves the entire page like a whole page screenshot with links and other fancy stuff intact, so you will never lose the original information on the web page. iterasi launched as public beta today, you can create an account if you wish. After creating account install Firefox or IE browser plugin and whenever you want to bookmark (called “notarize”) a page, hit the toolbar button, enter tags to describe the page and create folders to organize your bookmarks. Once you notarize it you can revert to this at any time. It will keep all the information and shows the URL of the page you saved. These bookmarks can be shared with others by Email or by embedding in blogs.

iterasi

iterasi is supposed to automate web capturing with scheduling feature, that is not yet available so far, you can expect that in the near future. Other missing feature is the social element, there is no option to see what your friends are saving, this is the essential feature for any social bookmarking app. del.icio.us is awesome to find interesting web links because it allows you to see what others are saving.

Sign in to public beta from here. Via RWW, check out other bookmarking tools
