Micromax is promoting the next Android phone in the Canvas series, dubbed Canvas 4 on TV and on Social Media. Today Micromax posted a teaser image on its Facebook page, the image hints at a new way of unlocking the Canvas 4. The picture shows the Apple’s Slide to unlock, and Android Swipe to unlock and the traditional pressing a key to unlock, on top of that a message reads What Next?. And a message accompanying the picture on Facebok reads Slide, Swipe, Press to unlock…What’s next?.
Apart from this minimal customization Micromax is serious to differentiate its products from the rest of the pack. Because if you look at the mid range Android phones, nearly all phones from different companies look like the same. Canvas 4 ads show that it has some metallic ring around the phone, though the phone itself is plasticky with glossy black. But what we saw in those ads is different from what we have seen in the past from the company. But the videos and images are not very clear to really see the phone in detail.
We don’t have to wait long enough to see the phone in action as Micromax is taking pre-orders for the Canvas 4 starting June 28th. It is building hype around the phone with TV commercials and social media channels, we hope it doesn’t disappoint users like last time when it launched the Micromax Canvas HD.
The pricing of the device is not known, but we are expecting it to be priced around Rs. 15000 like the Canvas HD when it is released.
What we know so far through various leaks is that it will come with a 5-inch full HD screen, a powerful quad core processor than that is doing duty in the Canvas HD.
