Samsung launched Galaxy Note II in India for Rs. 39,990

Samsung launched the latest iteration of the phablet Galaxy Note II in India at an event in Hyderabad. Galaxy Note II was unveiled last month at IFA Berlin and it is first launched in Korea on 26th of this month, the very next day it launched in India.

Galaxy Note II is priced at 39,990 in India, Flipkart is selling at the same price and you can also order it from the Samsung India eStore. This phablet is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean out of the box. It sports a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display at 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Other specifications include 2GB RAM, 32GB/ 64GB internal memory with expandable memory slot upt0 64GB, an 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.9 megapixel front camera.


Galaxy Note II comes with some improved features. The new S pen is improved a lot, you just have to write a command to send an email or text with the S Pen. Clipping text or images is a lot easier with the new stylus. Note II also comes with the Google Now voice app which functions like Siri.

The pricing of the Note II is expected as the Galaxy SIII is launched at a price of Rs. 43180, but now it is retailing for around Rs. 38000. Just wait for a few days and we might see the discounted price across online retailers.
