WordPress 2.6 Beta 1 Released

WordPress 2.6 beta 1 is released yesterday, the final version release of 2.6 is planned for mid-July. If you want to test this release you can get the WordPress 2.6 Beta 1 from here. 2.6 is coming with some nice and useful features like Gears support for caching of static files for faster admin page loads and better SSL support for admin.

  • Drag-and-drop sortable galleries

  • Bulk delete, activate, and deactivate for plugins
  • Check box range selection with shift-click
  • TinyMCE 3.1.0.1 with lots of bug fixes
  • jQuery 1.2.6 with some nice performance improvements
