Google Chrome doesn’t have native support for extension yet, but developers are finding ways to get addons like Greasemonkey to work with Google Chrome. Kazuho Oku found a way to get some greasemoney user scripts to run in Google chrome.
Greasemetal is a userscript runtime for Google Chrome. Using greasemetal you can run some userscripts in google chrome browser, the userscripts which require greasemonkey functionality won’t work in this release. The developer says the scripts which run in Opera should probably run in google chrome.
Download greasemetal from here and install in your system. Then to add scripts go to userscripts.org and download the scripts and put them in “userjs” directory of MyDocments in Windows XP and “userjs” directory of Documents folder in Windows Vista.
The limitations of greasemetal, scripts that require greasemonkey functionality won’t run. There is no script management yet.
